The National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM) is a public trust established in 2006 by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), the regulator of the securities markets in India. The institute carries out a wide range of capacity building activities at various levels aimed at enhancing the quality standards in securities markets.

February 08 – 10, 2021

National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM) organised three days Online “Program on Capital Market & Simulated Trading in Equity” for students of Aditya Institute of Management Studies and Research (AIMSR).

51 Students of AIMSR participated in this three days online workshop (13.5 Hours). On February 8, 2021, Dr. V. R. Narasimhan, Dean, NISM, inaugurated the program. Fundamental Analysis having topics like Economic analysis: Session on Micro & Marco Economic factors – Impact on the Capital Markets, Impact of Global factors on Capital Markets Impact etc. were discussed on the first day.

On February 9, 2021, Understanding of Derivatives having topics Derivative Trading and trading strategies & Technical Analysis having topics like Traders Psychology, different indicators and patterns, Application of the same with real life examples etc. were discussed on the second day.

On February 10 , 2021, Simulated Equity Trading having topics Understanding trading operations in Equity, Hands-on trading session – Trading mechanics and trade data, Trading case – order management and news based trading etc. were discussed on the third day. Hands on Sessions on Simulated Software was appreciated by the students.

All the sessions were delivered by Faculties of NISM.

NISM organised online test for the students as well on the third day after completion of three days’ workshop. Merit Certificates, Certificates of Completion and Certificates of Participation were distributed to the students.
