Dr. N. R. Bhanumurthy, Vice – Chancellor, Dr. B. R. Ambedkar School of Economics University (BASE University), Bengaluru addressed the students and faculty members of NISM on Saturday July 30, 2022 on the topic “Issues in Indian Macroeconomics”.
During his address, he discussed about the contemporary issues in Indian Macroeconomics and how it has impacted various walks of life. He touched upon the inter-relationship between fiscal deficits and growth, nexus between interest rates and investments, growth and the role of exchange rates in determining exports.

Practical examples which were quoted across the session helped the students and Faculty members to understand Macroeconomics in a simple manner.
