Forensic Investigation- Level 1 

In the digital era, deterrents such as financial crime, oversight errors, fraudulent transactions, asset misappropriation, money laundering, and terrorism financing pose a serious threat to the growth trajectory of the economy. To keep such instances of wrongdoing in check, it is imperative to adopt security and safety measures. NISM, in association with its knowledge partner Ernst & Young LLP, has developed a course on Forensic Investigation. It comprises two levels, consisting of around 18 hours of online learning content for Level 1 which is a blend of various concepts, legislations, regulations, and practical experience etc. The course covers aspects related to forensic and investigation, fraud risk management, forensic accounting, forensic accounting investigative approaches, forensic laws, investigative interviews, evidence management and documentation, and reporting, among others.

Learning Hours and Access Period

This course has approximately 18 hours of learning content including videos, module quizzes, and assessments. To complete the course, you will be given access to the course content for 180 days from the date of your registration. If you are not able to complete the course within the access period of 180 days, you can re-register for the course and start from the beginning.

Assessment and Certificate

Candidates will be tested through an online Multiple-Choice Question-based assessment immediately after the course. Candidates will need to score a minimum 60% in the online assessment to earn the certification. After successfully passing the assessment, candidate will be able to download the course Certificate.

Course Fee

1. Individual candidates: Rs. 7000 plus taxes, as applicable.
2.Corporates nominating 30 or more candidates (bulk registration facility): Rs 6300 per candidate plus taxes, as applicable. For single candidate from such entities, course fee would be as per clause 1 above.

For bulk registration, the corporate is required to provide the following information to NISM:
1. Details of SPOC (Single Point of Contact)
2. Number of candidates to be registered
3. Company details
4. Banking details
5. Copy of PAN, GSTIN, and cancelled cheque

Accordingly, NISM will raise a proforma invoice for payment. After the payment is received, NISM will share an excel format in which the candidate details are to be provided. NISM will register these candidates from back-end and login credentials will be shared with the candidates on their email. After this, the candidates can login to NISM’s LMS and start the course.

8. Is there any proctored examination for this course?
No. However, there will be an end course MCQ type assessment.

A minimum of 60% marks is required to pass the assessment.

After successfully completing the course, you will be able to download the course Certificate.
