Rules for NISM Certification Examinations

Candidates should adhere to the following rules while appearing for any of the NISM Certification Examinations:

1. Use of mobile phone/s in the test area is totally prohibited.
2. Candidate/s must return the backup sheet/s and/or rough sheet/s before leaving the examination hall.
3. Candidate/s can be disqualified from taking and/or continuing to sit for an examination if found involved in any unfair means. Examples of unfair means include but are not limited to:
3.1   Gaining access to test questions before the examination and/or aiding someone else to do so.
3.2   Communicating with and/or disturbing other candidates and/or consulting other persons outside the examination room during the examination.
3.3   Having access to and/or consulting note/s and/or book/s during the examination
3.4   Taking and/or attempting to take test question/s and/or response/s (in any format) and/or note/s and/or any unauthorized material from the examination room.
3.5   Taking an examination for another candidate/s and/or arranging to have another person/s take an examination for the candidate.
3.6   Threatening and/or physically and/or verbally abusing a supervisor and/or proctor responsible for curbing and/or reporting improper conduct.
3.7   Disclosing the content/s of an examination to any other person.
3.8   Presenting/giving/submitting false information/paper/s during examination registration/enrolment.
3.9   Tampering with the operation of the computer and/or attempting to use it for any function other than taking the examination.
3.10 Failing to follow other examination instruction/s.

 

NISM reserves the right to cancel any examination and not to issue certificate to any candidate who appeared in such examination which is cancelled by NISM, prevent issue of certificate to any candidate, deface any certificate/s issued to candidates and require the candidate to reappear for the examination, if NISM is satisfied at any time that in relation to any examination any kind of anomaly is observed by and/or reported to, NISM, without assigning any reason whatsoever.
