Eligibility Criteria

Academic Qualification

The minimum required academic qualification is graduation – a bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a recognized University in India. Graduates in commerce, economics, finance and management are preferred.

Students pursuing their final years of graduation are also eligible to apply and will be granted provisional admission upon selection.

Age

There is no age limit for pursuing PGPSM. However, applicants less than 30 years of age as on the date of application are preferred.


Selection Procedure

Stage I – Online Application

Aspirants may apply by filling the online application form available here. The application form captures personal information, academic qualifications, professional experience and other information essential for the selection process. The last day to apply is May 07, 2017.

The application fee is Rs. 1000 and is non-refundable. The fee can be on submitting the application form through an online link. All information related to the application fee is available in the online application form.

Applicants would be shortlisted to the second stage based on the profile (information provided in the application form). The shortlist would be at the sole discretion of NISM. NISM reserves the right to reject an application form, at its sole discretion, without assigning any reason. The shortlist would be communicated via email by May 10, 2017.

Stage II – Essay Writing and Personal Interview

Only the shortlisted applicants would be eligible for the second stage of essay writing and personal interview.

Essay writing is a non-elimination round. The topics would be informed at the venue and would be on the recent development in the world of business / economics / finance.

The interviews would be scheduled at NISM Bhawan, Vashi, Navi Mumbai and also are likely to be scheduled at Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata and few other locations depending on the requirement. NISM reserves the right to add a new location for interview or cancel interviews at any location.

All expenses incurred in attending the interviews shall be borne by the applicants. NISM would not bear or reimburse any expenses in this regard.

The final selection of the applicants will be based on the following parameters totaling to 100.

The applicants shall not, in any way, request favor in selection or influence the selection process. Applicants attempting to influence the selection process will be debarred.

The final selection would be communicated via email by June 07, 2017. The selection of applicants would be at the sole discretion of NISM. NISM reserves the right to reject any applicant, at its sole discretion, without assigning any reason. The selected applicants shall pay the first installment of the programme fee on or before June 30, 2017.

The programme commences on July 11, 2017.
